Job Description
Google's Strategic Negotiation team secures infrastructure for Google's future growth. As a Strategic Partnerships Development Manager, you'll negotiate cost-effective solutions for infrastructure needs, ranging from underwater cables to data center space. You'll work with project teams, manage vendor relationships, and present deal recommendations to leadership. Responsibilities include leading negotiations, developing acquisition plans aligned with Google's growth, negotiating agreements for various infrastructure services, cultivating partnerships with government and regulatory bodies, and presenting updates to Google leadership. This role requires extensive experience in negotiating deals and managing vendor relationships within the network infrastructure sector.

Negotiate agreements for managed optical services, dark fiber, space, and submarine cable infrastructure

Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
14 years of experience in leading negotiations or business development.
Experience in acquiring services or driving business development with providers of colocation, dark fiber, capacity, and network services.
Preferred qualifications:
Experience in navigating and deriving regulatory, business, and technical environments.
Knowledge of edge and global carrier networks.
Ability to build consensus and provide clarity in business and technical environments.
