Summary
As the Vice President of Global Marketing, you will collaborate with the CMO to refine and execute strategies that drive the marketing growth engine, supporting both top and bottom-line growth globally across all lines of service (LOS). Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer and working closely with all LOS Vice Presidents, you will be a key member of the marketing team and GlobalStep’s senior leadership team. Your role will be pivotal in developing and executing marketing strategies, driving demand generation, accelerating growth, deepening client engagement, and solidifying GlobalStep’s position as the partner of choice for leading and disruptive brands in both the gaming and digital experience industries.
Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Develop and execute a comprehensive growth marketing strategy for all lines of service, tightly aligned with the company’s vision, objectives, and revenue targets.
- Lead initiatives to expand GlobalStep’s market share across gaming and adjacent industries.
- Partner with the CMO to build and mentor a high-performing marketing team that thrives on innovation and measurable success.
Demand Generation, Customer Engagement & Revenue Growth
- Oversee the development of integrated marketing campaigns that drive lead generation, pipeline acceleration, and customer retention.
- Lead initiatives to engage and inspire customers through thought leadership content, including whitepapers, blogs, webinars, and case studies. Plan and execute industry events, speaking engagements, and conferences to position GlobalStep as a consultative, trusted partner and industry leader.
- Implement data-driven strategies to optimize marketing ROI and support aggressive growth targets.
- Partner with the sales team to ensure alignment between marketing activities and revenue goals.
Brand Development
- Elevate GlobalStep’s brand as a thought leader and preferred partner in the gaming and digital experiences market.
- Assist in crafting compelling narratives that highlight our unique value propositions and success stories across all lines of service, all industries, and all geographies.
- Execute (“activate”) the brand across all touchpoints – with the websites (for both gaming and digital) and social being top priority.
Market Insights & Innovation
- Conduct ongoing market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and threats.
- Champion innovation by exploring and implementing emerging marketing technologies and best practices.
- Position GlobalStep at the forefront of industry conversations, events, and forums.
Build Comprehensive Demand Generation Engine
- From strategy through implementation, success tracking and continuous improvement, own the demand generation function – which may include product/service marketing, content marketing, digital (PPC, SEO) and social, events, and more – integrated campaigns to best break through the noise.
- Establish and manage quarterly and annual KPIs and budgets for demand generation to ensure and demonstrate effectiveness and efficiency.
- Assist CMO, IT and key stakeholders in the identification and build-out of a powerful marketing tech stack required to achieve our goals.
Collaboration & Integration
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Product Development, and Operations, to ensure seamless execution of go-to-market strategies.
- Foster a culture of collaboration and accountability within the marketing organization.
Requirements
- Experience: 10+ years in senior marketing leadership roles (prior VP-level role not required but desired), with a proven track record of driving growth in B2B and technology-driven industries. Gaming industry experience is a strong plus.
- Strategic Vision: Exceptional ability to translate business objectives into actionable marketing strategies.
- Analytical Acumen: Expertise in leveraging data and analytics to inform decision-making and measure marketing effectiveness.
- Leadership: Strong leadership and team-building skills with the ability to inspire and develop talent.
- Communication: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with a talent for storytelling and brand building.
- International Experience: Experience and demonstrated success in marketing strategy, planning, campaign management, and communications globally.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA a plus.
General Technical Skills
- Knowledge of and familiarity with CRM lead management tools (such as Pardot, HubSpot, Marketo and Oracle Eloqua).
- Familiarity with the leading digital and social marketing platforms (such as Google and LinkedIn). Including familiarity with advertising technology platforms (such as Google Ads and AdRoll).
