THAT'S WHERE YOU COME IN

We’re looking for a Video Editor to join our team in Los Angeles. You’ll play a vital role in shaping how our content reaches and engages our audiences—transforming raw footage into compelling visual stories that drive our social media presence, product storytelling, and promotional campaigns. You’ll work closely with creative producers, marketing, and studio teams to turn ideas into bold, performance-driven video content that reflects PortalOne’s visual identity and energy.

YOUR CHALLENGE

As a Video Editor at PortalOne, you’ll be responsible for:

• Collaborating closely with the Arcade show production team.
• Applying motion graphics, typography, transitions, music, and sound design to enhance viewer impact and engagement, when needed.
• Preparing and managing deliverables for broadcast.
• Maintaining organized project files, raw footage, and version tracking with a strong focus on workflow efficiency and editorial clarity.
• Delivering polished edits on tight turnarounds while upholding creative standards, and brand guidelines.
• Contributing creatively to brainstorming sessions, pitch decks, and special episodes.

WHO YOU ARE

If you’re a visual storyteller with a sharp editing eye and deep understanding of what captures attention in the mobile and gaming space, this role could be for you. We’re looking for someone who can balance technical precision with creative flair and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative production environment.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a video editor with a strong portfolio of short format videos and television format experience.
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and other relevant video/audio editing tools.
• A solid understanding of pacing, transitions, visual rhythm, and sound syncing.
• Ability to work independently while receiving and integrating feedback from multiple stakeholders.
• Experience working with content across formats and distribution platforms.
• Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Notion, Jira) and digital asset management workflows.

Bonus

• Passion for games, entertainment, or digital culture is a plus.
• Experience editing Unreal Engine footage or working with VFX teams.
• Skills in basic color grading and sound design.
• Experience in short-form branded storytelling (trailers, launch promos, influencer cuts).

ABOUT THE ROLE

This is a full-time position based in our Los Angeles studio. We’re looking for a proactive, self-starting editor who’s excited by the opportunity to help define how the world sees PortalOne. You’ll be collaborating with some of the most creative minds in the industry—and contributing to one of the most exciting entertainment experiments happening today.

This role is on-site and studio-based in Los Angeles.
Salary range: $50 000 - 60 000.
