Job Description

The Warehouse Team Lead in Tilburg, Netherlands, is responsible for overseeing warehouse performance, guiding team members, and identifying areas for improvement. Key responsibilities include setting team priorities to maximize performance and customer experience; ensuring EH&S compliance; fostering open communication; managing forecasted volumes and resource planning; leading the team in business growth and process improvement; overseeing KPIs and SLAs; and collaborating with the Warehouse Supervisor to optimize warehouse processes. The role requires strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills, along with experience in warehouse management systems, inventory control, and logistics.

Must have:

3-5 years Team Lead experience in warehouse/distribution
Proficient in warehouse management systems & software
Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance
Experience in inventory management and control
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to lead and motivate teams effectively
Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions

Good to have:

Familiarity with logistics and transportation processes
Experience with 5S methodology

What You’ll Do

Set clear priorities for teams to maximize performance, workflow, and customer experience
Ensure compliance with EH&S standards for a safe and legal work environment, including proper material and equipment handling
Foster open communication and improve the work atmosphere through resource optimization and task delegation
Support Warehouse Supervisor with performance cycles and assist with onboarding and training of new staff
Manage forecasted volumes and resource & capacity planning
Lead the team in our business growth, creating stability & identifying process improvements
Oversee key business KPIs, SLAs, and ensure adherence to 5S standards for a clean and efficient workspace
Collaborate with colleagues and the Warehouse Supervisor to improve warehouse processes and address operational bottlenecks
Lead by example, promoting a change management culture and continuous productivity improvements

What You’ll Bring

Be available to work shifts: from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM and from 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM, rotating between both every week.
3-5 years of Team Leader experience in a warehouse or distribution center
Proficient in warehouse management systems and software including knowledge of safety regulations and compliance in warehouse operations.
Experience in inventory management and control
Familiarity with logistics and transportation processes
Ability to lead and motivate teams effectively by offering strong communication and interpersonal skills
Proven track record of meeting productivity targets
Ability to analyze performance data and make informed decisions
