Job Description

This Account Executive role focuses on new business sales within Google's Customer Solutions team. Responsibilities include managing the entire sales cycle, from prospecting and building a pipeline of new clients to closing deals and ensuring customer satisfaction. This involves outbound prospecting, cold calling, consulting, and pitching comprehensive advertising solutions using Google's suite of marketing products (YouTube, Google Search, Shopping, Display Network, App Promotion). The successful candidate will collaborate with internal teams and leverage market analysis to achieve client online marketing and business goals. Fluency in Turkish and English is essential for managing client relationships in the specified region. The role requires a strategic and tactical approach to building a sales pipeline from scratch and requires exceeding sales quotas.

Job Details

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in new business sales and exceeding quota attainment.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Turkish fluently to support client relationship management in this region.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in building a pipeline from scratch through strategic and tactical focus and execution.
  • Experience in planning, delivering and executing marketing campaigns, measurement, and creative strategy.
  • Understanding of the online advertising industry and knowledge of the local market with insights into both digital and traditional media.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop a working strategy.
  • Ability to independently take initiative, be comfortable with ambiguity, and with the ability to thrive in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills with the ability to pitch comprehensive advertising solutions for all clients.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the whole business cycle as an experienced sales professional for the new business acquisition from early stages to closing the customers and managing the relationship after closure to ensure the customer satisfaction, performance, and increase opportunities.
  • Prospect and build a pipeline of new business by identifying and initiating relationships with new clients, working in close partnership with our Sales Development, Onboarding, Agency, and Marketing teams.
  • Acquire high touch, high value business agreements through outbound prospecting, cold calling, consulting, educating, pitching, closing, and relationship management.
  • Consult with clients to achieve domestic and export online marketing and business goals, utilizing the full suite of Google’s marketing solutions (i.e., YouTube, Google Search and Shopping, Google Display Network, and App Promotion).
