The Advertising Sales Executive supports WildBrain's London-based team, focusing on UK, EMEA, and APAC regions. This role involves supporting the sales team in securing advertising campaigns from agencies and brands, utilizing video inventory across their YouTube network and creative branded content solutions. Responsibilities include collaborating with internal teams to understand and develop ad sales products, supporting campaign delivery, working with the finance team for tracking sales, creating sales presentations, expanding the client base, identifying market gaps, nurturing client relationships, and acting as the main point of contact for agencies and brands. The ideal candidate will possess experience in digital media ad sales, strong communication and organizational skills, and a solution-driven mindset.

Our Audience Engagement team excels at delivering entertainment content to audiences across the globe including on our world-leading YouTube network, through our global distribution business to SVOD, AVOD and FAST platforms, and through our leading capabilities in digital marketing, advertising, gaming and social media. Our content is enjoyed on leading platforms worldwide including Apple TV+, Netflix, Prime Video, Peacock, BBC, Nickelodeon, Pluto TV, Samsung TV Plus, Roku and many more.  

About the Role

We’re seeking a dynamic and motivated Ad Sales Executive to join our London-based Advertising Sales team, covering the UK, EMEA, and APAC regions. In this role, you’ll identify and secure campaigns from agencies and brands, leveraging both video inventory across our YouTube network and creative branded content solutions.

While not a frontline sales position, you'll play a vital role in supporting the team, collaborating with Research, Marketing, and Partnerships to drive business opportunities. You’ll assist in managing client accounts, creating impactful presentations and sales decks, and actively participating in outreach efforts. This role offers the chance to grow existing accounts, explore upsell opportunities, and serve as the main point of contact for agencies and brands, nurturing long-term relationships.

This is an exciting opportunity to help build WildBrain’s business in Europe, contributing to a global Media Solutions team at one of the largest independent kids’ and family media companies in the world.

Job Description

  • Support internal teams in helping them understand and develop the WildBrain ad sales product.
  • Support and guide teams in the delivery of video advertising campaigns.
  • Work closely with traffic/ops function to execute campaigns and provide excellent client service.
  • Collaborate with finance team for seamless partner experience and tracking of sales.
  • Formulate tailored sales solutions and create necessary decks and collateral.
  • Expand our client base beyond our current portfolio.
  • Identify gaps in the market where our skills and reputation can create value.
  • Maintain and nurture relationships with key client accounts.
  • Help clients understand the full possibilities offered by our content and products.
  • Grow current accounts and be the day-to-day contact for Agencies and Brands.

Qualifications

  • Experience supporting ad sales in a digital media environment, preferably in ad operations or media planning/buying (experience in YouTube and video sales is a plus).
  • Experience supporting the prospecting and selling of advertising solutions in the digital media landscape.
  • A self-starter with a solution-driven mindset and the ability to learn quickly.
  • A collaborative team player who thrives in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to multitask and work across teams.
  • An eagerness to build and grow relationships, with a focus on customer success and business development.
  • Ability to resolve queries efficiently, to multitask, and communicate across teams.
  • A positive, can-do attitude with a keen interest in the kids and family media landscape (previous experience is a plus, but not essential).
