Position Summary

SciPlay is a leading developer and publisher of digital games on mobile and web platforms, providing highly entertaining free-to-play games that millions of people play every day for their authenticity, engagement and fun.

SciPlay currently offers nine core games, including social casino games Jackpot Party Casino, GoldFish Casino , Hot Shot Casino, 88 Fortunes Slots, Quick Hit and casual games MONOPOLY Slots, Bingo Showdown, Backgammon Live, Match Hotel and Solitaire Daily Break with offices all over the world!

This role is part of SciPlay’s Project Rising Program. Project Rising is an immersive onboarding program designed to quickly build your understanding of social/mobile gaming at SciPlay. Through hands-on learning, you’ll explore our history, market, and game development approach, covering core areas like monetization, product, and analytics. Topics include impact funnels, game loops, LiveOps, KPI monitoring, economy strategies, and more. You’ll learn from SciPlay’s leaders, complete projects to apply your knowledge, and present insights on our games. By the program's end, you’ll be equipped to make a real impact within our team and on our players.

Job Summary: The Associate Analyst is responsible for supplying analysis and direction to fellow team members in order to improve key performance indicators and is also responsible for weekly deliverables, which is an opportunity to present analysis on test results and recommended areas of focus to management.

Essential Job Functions:

• Query databases with efficient HQL/SQL queries
• Analyze query results using Excel or other statistical tools
• Create weekly presentations to report status of Social/Mobile games to management
• A/B Test status reporting
• Identify areas of opportunity from analysis and brainstorm creative solutions with team
• Ad hoc Reporting

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Math, Statistics or relevant area

Required Experience:  Six months or more of professional analytics, statistics or engineering experience

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

• SQL/HQL/MySQL
• Understanding of relational databases
• Excel
• Other statistical analysis tools a plus (e.g. Minitab, SAS, R, etc.)
• Presenting analysis in a group setting
• Clear and effective communication of complex ideas and analysis
• Ability to work with little direction, self-directed
• General understanding of programming concepts and methodology a plus
• Agile/Scrum software development experience is a plus
• Critical thinking and creative problem solving
