This role requires a highly motivated and organized individual to drive the daily implementation of the product strategy for Women’s Apparel. You will be responsible for managing the product strategy at the department, class, and sub-class levels. You will need to have a strong understanding of the omni-channel marketplace and be able to communicate effectively with a diverse audience. You will also need to be able to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously. This is a full-time position located in Kissimmee, Florida.
Must have:
  • 2+ years of experience in Product Merchandising or Brand Management
  • Experience in building a product line for a category or categories of business
  • Demonstrated ability to be a brand steward and maintain brand and product integrity
  • Solid understanding of the omni-channel marketplace
  • Strategic problem solver with the ability to drive execution against a plan
  • Confirmed interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with a diverse audience
  • Successful experience working in a highly matrixed company structure
  • Flexible and adaptable with a demonstrated ability to work under pressure while meeting deadlines in a fast paced environment
  • Solid organizational and time management skills with ability to prioritize workload and concurrently manage multiple projects
  • High level of attention to detail; proactive, with strong follow through skills
  • Demonstrate positive demeanor with the ability to be adaptable to feedback and pivot based on changing organization priorities
  • Associate’s Degree or equivalent work experience

Job Summary:

About the Role & Team

In this role you will act as the producer of the line for Women’s Apparel, working with creative and product design to ensure the highest quality, consumer focused, trend right product lines across all owned and operated channels of distribution.

The Associate Merchandiser Manager will report to the Sr Manager Merchandising.

This is a Full-Time role.

What You Will Do

  • Drives the daily implementation of the product strategy for Women’s Apparel

  • Manages the product strategy at the department, class, and sub-class levels

  • Consumerist: Consumer obsessed, constantly balancing the art and the science of merchandising to find opportunities, elevate brand and delight our consumer

  • Monitors and reports on the global competitive landscape

  • Demonstrated passion for consumer and product trend

  • Track development counts, adoption critical metrics and COGs targets

  • Responsible for Data integrity in systems and samples

  • Provide support for key achievement meetings with the development of presentation decks, briefs, recaps, and assembling input from key partners

  • Attend cross functional team meetings to assist with the input/output of communication

  • Manages updates and maintenance of the Brand Range Plan

  • Prepare and maintain catalog of merchandise by quarter (photobooks)

  • Consolidates the product needs from all regions and channels to develop one product brief to design and creative

  • Establish perspective on what’s working and why to consistently improve product line

  • Partners with Global Creative and Marketing teams to bring our content and Intellectual Property to life properly and with a consistent brand point of view across the globe

  • Partners with Product Design and Sourcing to deliver seasonal product lines for vertical and wholesale business models that meet business objectives including sustainability goals

  • Partners with Planning, Franchise and Commercial Strategy partners to complete franchise and product strategies

  • Category ambassador to cross-functional teams showing up as compelling, dynamic, and knowledgeable in all stages of go to market process and partner interactions where product is discussed

  • Delivers our diversity and inclusion goals through right product and personal growth

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • 2+ years of experience in Product Merchandising or Brand Management

  • Experience in building a product line for a category or categories of business

  • Demonstrated ability to be a brand steward and maintain brand and product integrity

  • Solid understanding of the omni-channel marketplace (knowledge of global marketplace a plus)

  • Strategic problem solver with the ability to drive execution against a plan

  • Confirmed interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with a diverse audience

  • Successful experience working, and growing, in a highly matrixed company structure

  • The ability to build & foster collaborative partnerships across functions & departments

  • Flexible and adaptable with a demonstrated ability to work under pressure while meeting deadlines in a fast paced environment
