As an L4 AWS Support Engineer, you will be responsible for providing expert-level technical support for complex AWS-based solutions. You will lead critical incident response, architect solutions, and drive strategic initiatives related to AWS. Key responsibilities include developing, managing, and optimizing CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins and Opsera, automating infrastructure provisioning using Terraform and CloudFormation, and administering key AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and IAM. You will also focus on strengthening security, designing networking components, performing cost optimization, troubleshooting issues, designing scalable cloud solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring high levels of security and compliance. Additionally, you will develop automation scripts using Python and AWS Lambda for operational tasks, engage in strategic planning for cloud adoption and migration, provide architecture leadership for enterprise-level architectures, and manage EKS clusters. Innovation in emerging AWS technologies and promotion of containers and microservices are also key aspects, along with establishing cloud governance, leading audits, and acting as the final escalation point for critical incidents. Mentoring junior engineers and representing the team in client discussions are also expected.
