Job Description

The AWS Go To Market (GTM) Program Manager III at Rackspace Technology leads initiatives to increase awareness of Rackspace's capabilities within AWS teams. Responsibilities include positioning Rackspace solutions to AWS sales and partner teams, collaborating with technical leads for alignment with AWS sales leaders, and driving execution of sales initiatives. The role requires owning a segment or relationship within AWS account teams, establishing co-selling agreements, and managing programmatic selling activities with Rackspace sales and partner teams. This position demands regular interaction with Rackspace peers across various business units, executives, and sales leadership. Further responsibilities encompass seller enablement, pipeline generation, problem-solving, process improvement suggestions, and leveraging strong business relationship and influencing skills. Advanced knowledge of program management, CRM systems (Salesforce), and strong communication skills are essential.

Job Details

The AWS Go To Market (GTM) Program Manager leads activities to drive awareness of Rackspace capabilities across AWS teams. Positions Rackspace solutions to AWS sales and partner teams, highlighting Rackspace capabilities. Collaborate with Rackspace technical leads to drive alignment with AWS sales leaders. Drive execution of identified action items to establish top of funnel sales initiatives.  

Key Responsibilities

    • Owns a segment or relationship within AWS account teams 
    • Evaluate and establish co-selling agreements when possible  
    • Establish programmatic selling activities with Rackspace sales team and Alliance partner sales 
    • teams  
    • Participate in regular interaction with Rackspace peers across other business units as well as  
    • executives and sales leadership on activities ranging from strategic go- to-market activities to  
    • managing quarterly business reviews.  
    • Participate in enablement of Rackspace sellers (matrixed with Product)  
    • Drive incremental pipeline and opportunities  
    • Contributes to solution of business problems regarding operations, products, services or  
    • customers.  
    • Analyzes information, asks questions and checks for understanding using learned techniques and  
    • applying creativity in new situations.  
    • Applies acquired skills and experience to complete moderately complex tasks.  
    • May suggest improvements to existing processes and solutions to improve the efficiency of the  
    • team.  
    • Networks with internal and external contacts; recognizes the importance of relationships outside  
    • of specialty field.  
    • Conflict Resolution: Able to surface and resolve breakdowns in commitment and drive behavior changes required.  
    • Utilize business relationship skills, such as negotiating with customers or management, or using influencing skills with senior level leaders regarding matters of significance to the organization.

    • Advanced knowledge of the program management process, including segmentation and targeting.
    • In-depth knowledge of CRM and marketing automation systems such as Salesforce.com

        The anticipated starting pay range for Colorado is: 89,300 – 130,900
        The anticipated starting pay range for the states of Hawaii and New York (not including NYC) is: 95,000 – 139,260
        The anticipated starting pay range for California, New York City and Washington is: 104,000 – 152,570
        Unless already included in the posted pay range and based on eligibility, the role may include variable compensation in the form of bonus, commissions, or other discretionary payments. These discretionary payments are based on company and/or individual performance and may change at any time.
