Job Description

Google is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive new business sales for gaming clients in China. You will be responsible for prospecting, managing, and forecasting new business opportunities, engaging with customers to identify needs and challenges, and designing compelling Google solutions to resolve their problems and satisfy their needs. You will also work with the onboarding team and other support teams to deliver an outstanding customer experience, collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to identify new market trends, and take appropriate actions to acquire those opportunities. This role requires strong communication skills in both Chinese and English, as well as experience in the mobile gaming app development space. You will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with clients in the region, understanding their needs and challenges, and developing solutions that meet their requirements. You will also be responsible for managing and forecasting sales pipeline, identifying and qualifying new leads, and closing deals.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 2 years of experience in sales or business development
  • Fluent in Chinese and English
  • Experience in mobile gaming app development or ecosystem success
Good to have:
  • Experience recruiting and managing mobile gaming app developers at a tech company
  • Experience meeting and exceeding sales goals
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop a working strategy
  • Ability to build personal networking in the ecosystem to drive collaborations
  • Ability to operate and succeed in a fast-paced, fast-changing environment

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience working in sales or business development.
  • Ability to communicate in Chinese and English fluently to support client relationship management in this region.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience recruiting and managing mobile gaming app developers at a tech company or helping mobile apps achieve ecosystem success.
  • Experience meeting and exceeding sales goals.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop a working strategy.
