Job Description

The Charging Operations Specialist, APAC Charging, plays a crucial role in ensuring Tesla's charging network delivers a superior customer experience. Based in Taipei, this project management position involves managing system controls throughout site development, from planning to launch and optimization. Key responsibilities include owning operational milestones, ensuring data accuracy across platforms (vehicle, app, web), developing process documentation, educating deployment teams, serving as a business partner for cross-functional teams, and driving efficiency improvements. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication, problem-solving, and project management skills, coupled with a passion for technology and customer experience. This role requires proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with preferred skills in Power BI, Power Automate, SQL, Tableau, and Python. Experience in operations, program or project management, and ideally B2B account management is required. Fluency in Mandarin, Thai, or Korean is highly desirable.

What to Expect

Tesla sets the bar for what a trustworthy & resilient charging network can be. The Charging Operations team ensures that Tesla continues to deliver the best possible charging customer experience through proactive engagement and growth of the global charging network.

The Charging Operations Specialist works as part of the APAC Charging team. This dynamic project management role is responsible for managing system controls through site development from plan through opening and optimization of processes to help accelerate network growth. The individual will work closely with a wide range of internal stakeholders including our regional Deployment teams, Tools & Analytics, Pricing, Vehicle UI, and collaboration with global stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for fast, tactical action and problem solving, passion for new technology and experience in delivering a best-in-class customer experience. You will be an integral part of the team helping accelerate world’s transition to sustainable energy.

What You’ll Do

Responsibilities

1. Owner of Operations milestones for critical system controls for projects from plan to completion

2. Detail oriented work to ensure data in internal systems show correctly for drivers in Vehicle, App and web and for internal project management after site opening.

3. Maintain and develop process documentation to help innovate scalable, robust solutions which accelerate the charging team’s business goal

4. Educate Deployment team on processes if errors are found

5. Serve as the charging business partner for internal cross-functional teams

6. Continuously drive efficiency improvements with internal systems

7. Ability to identify and communicate problems, solutions and opportunitie

8. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel required; Power BI, Power Automate preferred

9.Proficiency in SQL and Tableau preferre

10.Proficiency in Python and proficiency in other languages

What You’ll Bring

Superb communication skills
Experience coordinating in fast-paced environments and teams
Ability to manage multiple projects with an eye for efficiency and priority
3+ years of experience in operations, program or project management or related role
Experience in B2B account management, and/or client servicing
Spoken and written language skills in Chinese (Mandarin), Thai and/or Korean are highly desirable.
Ability to anticipate challenges and solve before they become costly to correct
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field of study.
Highly energetic personality, with a flexible attitude towards critical tasks
Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word
Experience with new process and systems implementation
Great team player who has the ability to work independently as well as within a team dynamic
Proactive, motivated, self-starter
Strong attention to detais
Familiarity with the Python data science stack (numpy/pandas/scikit-learn)
Knowledge of relational databases, SQL and ORM technologies
Experience programming in Spark, Hive, or other SQL-on-Hadoop technologies
