Job Description

As a Client Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing software applications. Your primary focus will be on supporting live content areas, developing scalable systems, pipelines, and processes to streamline release and development efforts. You will also collaborate with other teams to lay the foundation for and develop tools that promote stability. Key responsibilities include leading initiatives that support day-to-day development within live content areas, developing scalable systems, pipelines, and processes to support evergreen content, working across disciplines to lay the foundation and develop tools that promote stability.
Must have:
  • 5+ years of game development experience
  • Proficiency with Unity
  • Exceptional work ethic and passion for growth

  • Ability to context switch and adapt easily
  • Effective communication skills, especially in teams
  • Ability to identify and navigate risks
  • Experience with Perforce/version control

What you’ll do

  • Help lead initiatives that will support day to day development within live content areas.
  • Develop scalable systems, pipelines, and processes to support evergreen content and aid in streamlining release and development efforts.
  • Work across disciplines to lay foundation and develop tools that promote stability.

What you’ll bring

  • Five (5) plus years of game development experience.
  • Proficiency with Unity.
  • Exceptional work ethic and passion for growth.
  • Ability to analyze complex problems and present multiple solutions.
  • Ability to context switch and adapt with relative ease.
  • Effective communication skills, especially within teams and with technical information.
  • Ability to accurately identify and navigate risks through the product planning process.
  • Experience working with Perforce/version control.
  • Experience with asset management, build, and content pipelines.
  • Experience with live and content supported projects.
  • BSCS, BSEE, or equivalent years of work experience.

Base Salary Range: For this role, new hires generally start between $125,000.00 - $148,200.00 per year. The full range is $125,000.00 - $187,000.00 per year. This range is applicable for the labor market where the role is intended to be hired. The final base salary is directly related to the candidate’s qualifications and professional experience uniquely.
