Position Description:

An administration officer is responsible for assisting APAC teams with administration-based tasks.  These tasks will mostly be computer-based and will typically involve (but not limited to):

Data Entry, File Uploading, Maintaining Excel Registers, email/Communicating issues, following work instructions).

There is a high degree of precision and task execution required for this role.

Position Responsibilities:

Data Upload into Local Ascend Servers – 60%

  • Uploading data files into a local Ascend instance via remote desktop connection.
  • Reporting issues on an Excel-based register.

Reconciliation of Data in Local Ascend Servers – 40%

  • Reconcile orders in Ascend with order information provided by our suppliers.
  • Make necessary adjustments within Ascend where discrepancies occur.
  • Log work in a register and provide feedback where issues are encountered.

Position Requirements - Skills, Experience & Attributes:

  • Prior experience with data entry and uploading files will be advantageous.
  • Analytical experience will be viewed favorably.
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel is necessary.
  • Experience with remote desktop work would be advantageous.
  • Time management and the ability to see work through to completion is essential.
  • Ability to report errors and issues that prevent work from being done will be critical.
