The Disneyland Resort Industrial Engineering Internship is a 17-week full-time program (January-May 2026) in Anaheim, CA. Interns will conduct industrial engineering analyses focusing on operational planning, workload forecasting, capacity utilization, and process improvements. This involves using various methodologies, tools, and techniques like data collection, simulation, and statistical analysis. Interns will collaborate with teams across different departments (Merchandise, Attractions, Entertainment) and work on projects requiring interaction with various levels of staff and management. The program provides professional development and practical experience within a dynamic and exciting environment.

This internship is a full-time, 17-week commitment in the Anaheim, CA area from January 2026 - May 2026.

What You Will Do

  • Conduct Industrial Engineering analysis projects, particularly in operational planning support, workload planning and forecasting, capacity utilization, and efficiency/process improvements

  • Ensure the appropriate methodology, measurements, tools and quantitative techniques (e.g. data collection, computer simulation, statistics, process flow analysis, etc.) are applied in projects

  • Lead and participate in team efforts and work on projects which require interfacing with all levels of cast and management

Required Qualifications & Skills

These are the minimum qualifications you need to be considered for this position:

  • Proven strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Proven strong interpersonal skills

  • Proven strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision making skills

  • Willingness to learn new software application
     

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior related work experience with a focus on problem-solving

Education

  • Currently enrolled in an Industrial Engineering program with an intended graduation date on or after May 2026.

  • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher (please note: no rounding) – transcript submission is required 

Eligibility Requirements & Program Information

Candidates for this opportunity MUST meet all of the below requirements: 

  • Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class at time of application OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship.

  • Current Disney Interns, College, International, or Culinary Program Participants: You may only work for ONE consecutive year (12 months) in any combination of an internship and/or program.

  • Must be at least 18 years of age

  • Must possess unrestricted work authorization

Additional Information

  • Able to have a consistent, reliable work schedule throughout the internship

  • Fully available to work full-time (40 hours per week) from January – May 2026.

  • Fully available Monday – Friday and occasional evenings and/or weekends depending on project needs

  • Able to provide own housing for the duration internship program in the Anaheim, CA area

  • Able to provide reliable transportation to/from work and across Disneyland Resort property for on-site projects
