We are currently looking for a native French inhouse translator and editor to work full-time for our office in Berlin, Germany. The successful candidate will be in charge of providing translations, bilingual editing, and proofreading texts for video game titles while respecting production schedules and quality expectations. The candidate will be working alongside an in-house team of translators and project managers on various projects for all platforms, including titles from very prestigious clients.
YOUR ROLE- Translating, editing, and proofreading video-game related content, includes in-game content, marketing material, etc.
- Updating linguistic assets (glossary, guides, termbases, etc.) and assisting with feedback to external translators and editors.
- Assisting partners as language or translation lead on projects.
- Improving and ensuring the overall quality of translations.
- Assist to discover and onboard talented translators in the industry.
- Controlling quality and compliance with guidelines and reference material.
- Training other team members on processes and cultural aspects.
- Providing input and feedback for continuous improvement of processes within the company and for the company.
