Our direct Fortune 500 client is looking for someone to join the Development team to instrumental in architecting, building, and optimizing a high-performance web application that sets new standards for user experience. Collaborating with a talented team of designers, product managers, and engineers, you'll transform innovative concepts into reality. This is a 6 – month contract + extension. The team is located in New York City, and the role is fully remote in EST
 
Full Stack Software Engineer (React) Responsibilities: 

• Architect, develop, and optimize high-performance React-based SPAs.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate designs into pixel-perfect, efficient code.

• Write clean, maintainable code that adheres to best practices and coding standards.

• Debug and troubleshoot performance issues to ensure a seamless user experience.

• Build and maintain robust backend services and APIs, ensuring efficient data flow and clear API contracts.

• Lead technical discussions and decision-making to drive architectural excellence.

• Work closely with backend engineers to integrate APIs and optimize data transfer

• Take ownership of features from inception to deployment, paying meticulous attention to detail.

Full Stack Software Engineer (React) Requirements: 

• 7+ years experience

• BS degree
• Experience working on web
• Backend experience
• React – single page web app (SPA)
• GraphQL experience
• Senior Engineer level
• Node.js
• Typescript

• Strong proficiency in React, including state management (e.g., Redux, Context API), REST API, component lifecycle, and hooks.

• In-depth knowledge of JavaScript, including ES6+ syntax, asynchronous programming (promises, async/await), and functional programming concepts.

• Solid understanding of HTML5 and CSS3, including responsive design, CSS preprocessors (e.g., Sass, Less), and CSS frameworks (e.g., Bootstrap, Material-UI).

• Experience with tools like Webpack, Babel, and npm or yarn for managing and bundling frontend assets.

• Proficiency in Node.js and Express.js for building RESTful APIs and backend services.

• Experience with database technologies like MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or MySQL for data storage and retrieval.

• Understanding of RESTful API design principles and best practices.

• Ability to design efficient data models and schemas.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve complex technical issues.

• Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.

• Ability to work in a team environment and contribute to a positive team culture.

• Meticulous attention to detail to ensure high-quality code and deliverables.
