Position Title: Production Manager

Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and hyper-organized production operations leader who can be relied upon to oversee the day-to-day management of multiple productions at varying states of pre, live, and post-production; leading coordination, logistics, and quality assurance to ensure seamless high-quality output that meets deadlines and budgets.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in production management and production coordination, with proven on-set experience, a past in people leadership, and expertise in leading end-to-end production across mediums, formats, and genres.
A thorough understanding of the entertainment industry, as well as experience in managing production timelines, budgets, and personnel is required. The ability to think strategically, communicate efficiently, and manage many moving parts is a necessity. Deep knowledge and passion for vertical dramas and web series across the global market is a plus.
This position will report directly to Interactive Films’ Content Director and will be a hybrid full-time role at our Beverly Hills office.
Responsibilities:
- Track, manage, and lead forward all moving parts across a multi-show slate from concept through post-production, acting as IP project manager and keeping the Content Director and executives informed of progress, updates, and changes.
- Be the liaison, connecting point, and partnership manager between Interactive Films and all external production partners; owning responsibility for the sourcing, project assignments, communication, pitching, relationship management, and technical collaboration.
- Partner with the Content Director in on-set technical leadership, running point if Content Director is ever not present; managing the external production organization and any applicable Interactive Films or Snail employees for the purpose of capturing the highest quality content possible.
- Act as formal #2 across Interactive Films if Content Director is ever unavailable, unreachable, on set, or otherwise occupied. Has full authority to direct employees, projects, and partners, while also able to consult on critical matters of leadership, hiring, and more in place of Content Director.
- Run point on planning and fully organizing on-set visits, both locally and domestically as necessary for IP and IP marketing success.
- Lead social media marketing strategy for Interactive Films and SaltyTV, owning responsibility for ensuring consistent creative direction across IPs and social media, as well as people management duties for all social media coordinators and related personnel.
- Responsible for leading on-set asset capture (including, but not limited to, stills and video) for the purpose of Interactive Films and SaltyTV IP marketing success both domestically and internationally.
- Responsible for the editing and dictation of editing for all on-set assets captured, as well as any and all promotional assets.
- Work in partnership with the Content Director on frontlines communications, while taking responsibility for facilitating the creation, tracking, and transfer of relevant information and materials across individuals and divisions.
- Run point on IP and Interactive Films project scheduling, showcasing comfortability in holding to and revising timelines as needed, all without deterrent to quarter-end, year-end, and complete slate goals.
- Implement organizational, creative, and technical systems alongside the Content Director to ensure consistency and quality is met across shows, locations, departments, talent, and partners.
- Provide additional tactical production leadership and creative partnership, as needed, to the Content Director, as well as necessary creative input to Interactive Films as a whole.
Requirements:
- 5+ years as a production manager, production coordinator, and/or producer within the film and television industry.
- Extensive expertise within photo and video production, and an in-depth comfortability with all related equipment, processes, and workflows.
- Exceptional project manager: highly organized, detail-oriented, and communicative, with a track record of successful leadership and high-quality end results.
- Proven expertise in on-set leadership, and a background of leading productions, shoots, and all related personnel.
- Solutions-oriented with the ability to think quickly and present innovative alternatives if issues arise.
- Must have thorough understanding and appreciation for short-form romantic dramas and made-for-mobile digital content.
- Demonstrated expertise in budgeting, scheduling, and creating, managing, and holding others accountable to timelines.
- Ability to provide thoughtful feedback on communications, scripts, outlines, cuts, trailers, and drafts at all stages.
- Travel is a requirement for this position, both locally and domestically in order to supervise IP and project production.
- Knowledge of Movie Magic Scheduling and Movie Magic Budgeting is a plus.
- Contacts across the entertainment space (including writers, production personnel, talent, etc.) is a plus.
$80,000 - $90,000 Annually
