The intern will be part of the Silicon Signoff and Verification (SSV) team, working with the Quantus, Pegasus, and Voltus platforms. Responsibilities include assisting customers in adopting IC Signoff solutions, delivering technical presentations and training, supporting technical evaluations, and aiding R&D and product engineers in developing solutions. This role involves a dynamic, fast-paced environment and collaboration with global teams.
Must have:
  • Enrollment in a relevant Bachelor's degree program.
  • One to two years until graduation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Interest in learning new technologies.
  • Openness to personal development.
  • Team player with a positive attitude.
Good to have:
  • Basic understanding of MOS transistors.
  • Knowledge of Physical verification flows.
  • Knowledge of Parasitic extraction flows.
  • Knowledge of IR Drop/Electromigration tools.
  • Knowledge of Physical verification rule writing or in parasitic extraction.
  • Experience with Cadence Implementation tools or similar industry tools.

As an Intern: Application Engineering - Silicon Signoff and Verification, you will be part of the Silicon Signoff and Verification (SSV) team.

The SSV team works with the Quantus, Pegasus and Voltus platforms.

Job Description:

  • Helping customers to adopt and proliferate our IC Signoff solutions
  • Conducting technical presentations, technical training, and product demonstrations, including development of customized presentations
  • Supporting technical evaluations and benchmarks
  • Help R&D and product engineers develop competitive and creative technical solutions

Requirements:

  • Enrollment in a BS in Electrical, Electronics, System Engineering, computer science or related areas on progress
  • One to two years to graduate.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Interest in learning new technologies
  • Open to continued personal development to meet the evolving demands of the EDA industry
  • Team player with a positive attitude, willingness to offer and execute ideas and solutions to enhance processes within an evolving environment

Nice to have:

Basic understanding or University knowledge and contact with any of these:

  • MOS transistors, Physical verification flows ( i.e.. DRC, LVS & FILL), Parasitic extraction flows, IR Drop/Electromigration tools, Physical verification rule writing or in parasitic extraction.
  • Cadence Implementation tools (Innovus, Virtuoso, Allegro/APD) or similar industry tools.
