IoT Pre-Sales Engineer- NORAM/ LATAM

Position Summary
Thales is looking for an IoT Pre- Sales Engineer who is responsible to maximize MCS Connectivity Solutions & Services success rate for Connectivity and Security Management platform (TAC including eSIM + Solution and IoT Security) product line by providing globally support to Sales (KAM, Account Manager, MCS Sales and Regional BD) and to help to develop new business
Key Areas of Responsibility
Supporting sales to present and promote offer and differentiators and perform demos
Qualifying new Connectivity and Security Management platform customer opportunities (qualification review)
Answering technical customers questions regarding Connectivity and Security Management platform and
supporting solution expert
Answering RFx regarding Connectivity and Security Management platform offers
Supporting Connectivity and Security Management platform Product Manager team to improve product offer and
roadmap to meet market needs
Supporting Marketing team to build competitive commercial Connectivity and Security Management platform offers in regard to customer and market demand, pricing guidelines, cost optimization
Transfer Connectivity and Security Management platform product knowledge to regional experts to make them more autonomous (and eTC, TC, …)
Buildup and maintain good relationship with regional sales, regional solution experts, product line and marketing
team
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree or master's degree or in lieu of a degree, 6 years of relevant, exempt experience as equivalency
At least 10 years of experience answering technical customers questions regarding Connectivity (SGP.02, SGP.22 and SGP.32 as main focus on IoT) and Security Management platform and supporting solution expert
Prior experience supporting Product Marketing team to build competitive commercial Connectivity and Security Management platform offers in regard to customer and market demand, pricing guidelines, cost optimization
Prior experience with technical presentations and demonstration to customers
Previous experience supporting eSIM technology, knowledge of SGP.32 and IoT customers and ecosystem.
Solid understanding of the products and technologies being sold, often gained through engineering or IT-related studies. Knowledge of digital technologies, telecommunications, cloud, cybersecurity, or sector-specific expertise is highly valued
Specific industry experience in Connectivity and Security Management platform product and solution knowledge
Demonstrated technical knowledge of mobile communication solutions and services
Technical knowledge of mobile communication solutions and services
Pre-Sales, Business Development or Sales knowledge
French or Spanish language fluency is a plus.
