The IT Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the company's IT infrastructure. This includes hardware, software, and network, while ensuring optimal functionality, security, and efficiency. The role also involves troubleshooting problems and providing technical support. The candidate will manage system administration, network management, hardware and software maintenance, data backup and disaster recovery, security and compliance, help desk, and user support, as well as vendor management and IT projects.
Must have:
- Install and maintain operating systems and software applications.
- Configure and maintain network equipment (routers, switches, etc.).
- Perform hardware maintenance and software upgrades.
- Provide technical support to end-users and troubleshoot issues.
Good to have:
- Knowledge of Apple products and tools.
- Up-to-date on new tech, like JIRA, Clickup, GitHub.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA, Microsoft).

Job Details
WRP PVT LTD is seeking a skilled and experienced IT Engineer. He/She will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the company's IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, and network, while ensuring optimal functionality, security, and efficiency. It also includes troubleshooting problems and offering technical support to the team. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of networks and computers/software. Required to be a self-starter, must be motivated and willing to work without much supervision. Should be able to manage a bigger team size.

Key Responsibilities:
- System Administration:
-- Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, software applications, and utilities.
-- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
-- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal system operation.
-- Creating and maintaining employees' accounts. (Includes Apple ID, clickup, slack, etc)
- Network Management:
-- Configure and maintain network equipment such as routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
-- Monitor network traffic and address connectivity and performance issues.
-- Implement security measures to safeguard the network against unauthorized access and cyber threats.
- Hardware and Software Maintenance:
-- Conduct regular updates, patches, and upgrades for software applications and operating systems.
-- Perform hardware maintenance, including repairs and replacements when necessary.
-- Manage software licenses and ensure compliance with licensing agreements.
- Backup and Disaster Recovery:
-- Implement and maintain data backup and disaster recovery solutions.
-- Develop and test disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity in case of system failures.
