The projects are technically challenging in a very engaging environment making the most of cutting-edge technologies.
Responsibilities
End-to-end feature delivery
design, implement, test, and deploy scalable services and UIs that meet business goals.
Back-end ownership
build and maintain microservices using Java with Spring Boot/Spring Cloud, ensuring high performance and reliability.
Front-end development
create intuitive single-page applications using React and modern TypeScript/JavaScript patterns.
Node.js service work
develop lightweight APIs or background jobs with Node.js / Express.js, integrating them cleanly with Java services.
API & data design
model REST/GraphQL endpoints and database schemas (SQL & NoSQL), emphasising security and observability.
Quality assurance
drive automated testing (unit, integration, E2E) and participate in code reviews, pair programming, and static analysis.
DevOps collaboration
containerise and ship code via Docker/Kubernetes, help to troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines.
Agile teamwork
work closely with Product, QA, and UX in Scrum / Kanban ceremonies.
Continuous improvement
evaluate new tools, refactor legacy components, and champion best practices in performance, security, and clean code.
Skills
Must have
4-7 years professional software development, including 2+ years in a full-stack or microservices environment
Strong OO & functional programming, multithreading, JVM tuning
Spring Boot, Spring MVC/WebFlux, Spring Security, Spring Data/JPA; building & consuming REST/GraphQL APIs
Advanced ES2022+ or TS 5.x; asynchronous patterns (Promises, async/await)
Designing RESTful services, middleware, authentication (JWT/OAuth2), background workers
Hooks, Context, state-management
Hands-on with at least one SQL (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and one NoSQL (MongoDB/Redis)
Docker, basic Kubernetes usage, GitLab/GitHub Actions or similar CI/CD; familiarity with AWS/Azure/GCP fundamentals
Clear written & spoken English (B2+), proactive communication, ownership under pressure
Nice to have
Experience with cloud services (AWS Amplify, CloudFront, S3, or comparable on Azure/GCP)
