POSITION SUMMARY:
The Learning & Development, (L&D), Specialist will play a key role in supporting the Head of Learning & Development to analyse and meet the needs of members of the SEGA group. Through close collaboration with internal stakeholders, they will contribute to the success of an L&D function in providing training and learning opportunities aligned with organisational level strategy and SEGA’s vision, both through sourcing external training and the design and delivery of in-house training. They will also oversee the administration of the function and develop the quality of internal training data.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- To liaise with people partners across the group to ensure the learning & development needs of each area are met and that there is collaboration on relevant SEGA wide activities
- To manage Learning & Development queries
- To oversee administration of Learning & Development platforms
- To support the Head of Learning & Development with research on upcoming development opportunities relevant to the games industry
- To design and deliver in-house workshops which meet the individual and collective learning needs
- To develop a tracking system of training attended that can in time be integrated with the HR system
- To work with the Head of Learning & Development to implement any training and learning borne out of the SEGA strategy
- To liaise with internal communications specialists to publicise details of learning & development activities across the SEGA group
- To liaise with external training providers
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Experience of working in a busy learning & development environment
- Familiarity with learning program design–linked to needs analysis and adaptable for differing learning styles
- Excellent communication and presentation skills and ability to work with internal and external stakeholders
- High level of organisational skills and ability to manage a busy workload
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work styles and to manage expectations
- A flexible team player, with an appreciation and drive to create inclusive learning & development opportunities for colleagues
- A proactive approach to work and motivation to try new ways of working
- Excellent administrative skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office; specifically, in Excel, Outlook and Word
- Ability to oversee learning management systems and curate comprehensive reports and insights data
- An awareness and understanding of budget management
- A professional outlook and understanding of the importance of confidentiality
