Job Description

Zones is seeking a Manager Sales Enablement to lead the PK Sales Enablement team. The role involves designing, delivering, and improving onboarding and enablement programs to accelerate new Account Executives' ramp-up and achieve sales goals. This includes coaching, collaboration, and data-driven training to ensure new hires understand and utilize Zones' digital platforms and sales methodologies like QBS and PAS. Responsibilities include developing training plans, monitoring AE progress through KPIs such as client adoption rates and margin ramp goals, analyzing training effectiveness using sales analytics and PowerBI, and identifying performance gaps to implement corrective actions. The manager will also collaborate with sales leadership, recruiting, and other stakeholders to ensure consistent messaging and alignment with company strategy, fostering strong cross-functional relationships and promoting a positive team culture. The role also involves facilitating team huddles and feedback sessions for continuous improvement.

Position Overview:

 

As the Manager Sales Enablement, you will play a pivotal leadership role within the PK Sales Enablement team. Your mission is to design, deliver, and continuously improve onboarding and enablement programs that accelerate new Account Executives’ ramp-up to meet critical sales goals and wildly important goals (WIGs). Through coaching, collaboration, and data-driven training, you will empower new hires to adopt Zones’ digital platforms and become high-performing sellers aligned with company strategy.

 

What you’ll do as the Manager Sales Enablement:

RESPONSIBILITIES:
 

Training Program Development & Execution:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive onboarding and continuous education training plans for new sales hires.
  • Ensure new Account Executives (AEs) understand and effectively use Zones digital tools (ZonesConnect, ZonesCloud) and adopt sales methodologies (QBS, PAS).
  • Utilize varied learning methods and coach trainers to achieve ramp goals and WIG attainment.

 

Performance Management & Measurement

  • Monitor AE progress through KPIs: client adoption rates, margin ramp goals, client acquisition, and AE assessment scores.
  • Analyze training effectiveness using sales analytics and reporting dashboards (PowerBI).
  • Identify performance gaps and implement corrective training actions promptly.

 

Collaboration & Communication

  • Maintain ongoing collaboration with sales leadership, recruiting, and other stakeholders to ensure consistent messaging and alignment with Zones’ strategic goals.
  • Facilitate daily team huddles, feedback sessions, and regular training up-level meetings to promote continuous improvement and engagement.

 

Relationship Building

  • Foster strong working relationships across Zones teams and leadership to enable cross-functional collaboration and support.
  • Promote a positive, proactive, and accountable team culture adhering to Zones’ 5P Execution philosophy and Five-Star Service standards.

 

What you will bring to the team:

 

Required

 

  • Proven experience in sales training, enablement, or a related role, ideally within IT or technology sales environments.
  • Strong knowledge of sales enablement methodologies, including Question-Based Selling (QBS) and PAS (Problem-Alternative-Solution).
  • Excellent coaching, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and metrics to assess training impact and improve outcomes.
  • Skilled in stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of managing multiple priorities effectively.

 

Preferred

 

  • Familiarity with CRM systems, sales analytics tools (PowerBI), and digital sales platforms.
  • Experience in developing and delivering remote or virtual training sessions.
  • Background in instructional design, adult learning principles, or certification in training delivery.
