Summary

This part-time Middle System Administrator position in Warsaw requires 1+ years of experience. Responsibilities include providing end-to-end user support (phone, email, in-person) for hardware/software issues; first-level technical support for computer hardware, software, and network problems; deploying and administering IT systems (desktops, laptops, servers, network equipment, mobile devices); managing desktop images, upgrades, security patching; resolving escalated incidents; troubleshooting advanced hardware/software problems; and implementing/maintaining wired/wireless network connections. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide end-to-end support to users via phone, email, and in-person to resolve hardware and software issues promptly.
  • Under direct supervision, provide first level technical support to end-users for computer hardware, software, network related problems.
  • Deploy and administer IT systems in the assigned region, including end-user desktops, laptops, computing servers, network equipment, voice and video hardware and mobile devices.
  • Manage desktop images, conduct upgrades, perform security patching, and configure systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Resolve incidents escalated by the call center or security operations center within appropriate priorities and urgencies.
  • Provide effective troubleshooting and accurate solutions to advanced hardware and software computing problems for Windows, mobile devices, printers, peripherals.
  • Implement and maintain both wired and wireless network connections between devices, ensuring reliable communication.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 1+ year of a system administrator or other relevant experience
  • Skills and Abilities: Flexible, reliable person with good communication skills, ability to work independently.
  • Specialized Knowledge:
  • OS: Windows 10/11
  • Network technologies: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP
  • Hardware: PC/laptops, switches, routers, access points, printers, video conference devices
  • English: Upper-Intermediate
  • Working conditions: Part time, 3 days per week in the office.
