Job Description

The New Business Account Strategist role at Google focuses on helping new and existing businesses grow their advertising reach using Google's products. Responsibilities include managing a new customer portfolio, delivering against customer goals, working cross-functionally with other teams, improving customer relationships, and providing strategic advice to maximize ROI. This involves proactive communication with customers via various channels and tailoring performance-enhancing suggestions. Fluency in Indonesian and English is essential for supporting client relationship management in the region. The role requires a strong understanding of online media and analytical abilities to shape business growth strategies.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 2 years in advertising/sales/marketing

Good to have:
  • Master's degree in business

Job Details


Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of advertising, consultative sales, business development, online media environment, or marketing role.
  • Ability to speak and write in Indonesian and English fluently to support client relationship management in this region.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree in a business related field.
  • 2 years of experience working in a complex, matrixed organization.
  • 2 years of experience in the TV or media industry.
  • 1 year of experience managing digital marketing and advertising campaigns, projects, and relationships with customers or agencies.
  • Ability to reach out to customers, or cold calling, and enjoy helping customers to add value to their business.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a new customer portfolio for six months to set them up for long-term success with their digital advertising journey.
  • Deliver against assigned customer goals while prioritizing, and deliver an outstanding onboarding experience.
  • Work cross-functionally with Sales, Product, and Program teams to deliver seamless customer handovers.
  • Implement creative ways to improve customer relationships. Tailor and share performance-enhancing suggestions and promote other Google products.
  • Communicate proactively with customers via phone, chat, and email. Provide strategic advice to help customers get the best return on their investment by working with them in a consultative role.
