Zones is seeking an Operations & Reporting Analyst to support business operations for its global solutioning and architecture team. The role involves setting up and running the reporting function, managing opportunity intake, and maintaining associated technology platforms. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, passionate about system functionality and process improvement, and thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include scheduling and participating in opportunity qualification meetings, reviewing documentation, setting up collaboration platforms like SharePoint/Teams, tracking key actions with stakeholders, gathering and organizing data, developing operational reports and dashboards, analyzing data to identify trends, creating visualizations, and ensuring data quality. The role also involves refining analytical tools and systems, utilizing Microsoft Dynamics 365, SharePoint, Excel, and ServiceNow, and potentially Power BI and automation tools.
Must have:
  • 5+ years in data analysis/reporting/BI
  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics 365
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Experience with SharePoint
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication skills
Good to have:
  • Certifications in data analysis
  • Experience with Power BI
  • Knowledge of automation tools (Power Automate, Alteryx)
  • Understanding of data integrity
  • Ability to write technical documentation

What you’ll do as the Operations & Reporting Analyst:

 

Employees employed in the role of Operations & Reporting Analyst shall be required to apply their independent mind and demonstrate intellectual abilities in their decision-making.

  • Schedule and participate in opportunity qualification meetings, review documentation and set up SharePoint / Teams for assignments and collaboration
  • Work with stakeholders & leaders to capture key actions and follow up for closure
  • Data gathering & organization Develop and maintain operational reports and dashboards to support decision-making and performance tracking by curating data from multiple sources
  • Data Analysis: Analyzing data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can inform business decisions
  • Report and Dashboard Creation: Developing reports, dashboards, and visualizations to effectively communicate data and insights to stakeholders
  • Identifying and resolving data inconsistencies or issues, ensuring data quality. 
  • Developing or refining analytical tools and systems to improve data collection and analysis processes.
  • Utilize tools such as Microsoft D365, SharePoint, Excel, and ServiceNow to support business operations and reporting needs.

 

What you will bring to the team:

  • 5+ years of experience in data analysis, reporting, or business intelligence.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as statistics, data analytics, or business administration.
  • Certifications: in relevant data analysis software or techniques
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) for data management and reporting
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, formulas, and Power Query
  • Experience with SharePoint for content management and collaboration
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow or similar IT service management platforms
  • Experience with reporting tools such as Power BI is a plus
  • Understanding of data integrity principles and database concepts
  • Knowledge of automation tools such as Power Automate or Alteryx is a plus
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to write and maintain clear process and technical documentation
  • Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills
