Job Description
The Principal Shopping Sales Specialist will develop shopping strategies for retailers, aligning them with client business objectives and enhancing Google Shopping performance. This role requires articulating the value of shopping solutions to drive adoption and growing the business by deeply understanding clients' needs. Responsibilities include communicating client and market updates to leadership, partnering with internal stakeholders, and providing thought leadership at the executive level. The ideal candidate possesses extensive experience in digital media sales, marketing, or product roles, with a strong understanding of Google Shopping Ads, Google Ads, and Merchant Center. Data analysis skills and the ability to present compelling insights are crucial. The position is based in New York, NY or Atlanta, GA.

Job Details
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 11 years of experience in digital media, sales, marketing, or product roles or 8 years of experience with an advanced degree.
- Experience working with digital organizations.
- Experience identifying and recommending scalable solutions to improve customer strategy, and working with executive leadership.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience working with retailers or manufacturers using Google Shopping Ad products, Google Ads, and Merchant Center.
- Experience selling and pitching digital marketing and measurement solutions to executive audiences.
- Experience managing a book of business.
- Knowledge of Performance Digital Marketing across planning, buying, and optimization.
- Ability to deliver insights from data that creates business value and drives client action.
- Ability to provide thought leadership and lead discussions at an executive level.

We advise clients on Google's broad range of products across search, video and mobile to help them connect instantly and seamlessly with their audiences.The US base salary range for this full-time position is $138,000-$205,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
