Job Description

As a Process Expert for Global Export Control and Sanctions, you will be responsible for defining and implementing processes related to export control and sanctions law. This includes aligning technical requirements with the central SAP S/4 rollout team, IT, and other process development teams. You will ensure the correct, standardized implementation of global export control and customs requirements using GTS and other ERP interfaces within the business processes of the RB business units. Your role involves acting as the interface to business unit-specific processes and business models, defining and operating global risk monitoring systems, and coordinating testing, user training, migration, and go-live preparations. You will also provide post-go-live support, error elimination, and process adjustments during the stabilization phase.
Must have:
  • J.D. from a U.S. accredited law school
  • Solid experience in process management
  • IT know-how
  • Expert knowledge of SAP S/4 and SAP GTS
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end processes (logistics, supply chain)
  • Solid basic knowledge of foreign trade, export control, and customs law
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Solution-oriented, organized, and self-determined approach
  • Strong teamwork skills
  • Fluent written and spoken English

Job Description

  • As a process expert for Global Export Control and Sanctions, you are responsible for the definition and rollout of processes in the area of ​​export control and sanctions law.
  • Your responsibilities include aligning the technical requirements of the Governance department (primarily foreign trade, export control, and sanctions list screening ("SPL") with the central SAP S/4 rollout team and other process development teams such as IT, process owners, and managers.
  • You will ensure the correct, standardized implementation of global export control and customs requirements for master data and business processes using GTS and other ERP interfaces in the business processes of the RB business units.
  • You will also be the interface to business unit-specific business processes and business models.
  • You will also be responsible for defining and operating global risk monitoring systems and coordinating testing, user training, migration, and go-live preparations.
  • You are the post go-live support and take care of error elimination and process adjustments or improvements during the stabilization phase and final handover to the line organization.

Qualifications

  • Education: J.D. from a U.S. accredited law school
  • Experience and expertise: Solid experience in process management and IT know-how; expert knowledge of SAP S/4 and SAP GTS as well as a strong understanding of processes (end-to-end process thinking), particularly in logistics and supply chain processes; solid basic knowledge of foreign trade, export control, and customs law round out your profile
  • Personality and working practices: You are characterized by excellent communication and presentation skills; your solution-oriented, organized, and self-determined approach, as well as your ability to understand processes in detail and your strong teamwork skills, make you stand out
  • Languages: Fluent written and spoken English; German is an advantage
