We are currently seeking a Product Manager for one of the largest eCommerce companies in the world. The position is located in San Jose, CA, but is open for remote work. The role is a 3-month contract opportunity.
As a Product Manager on the Payments team, you will play a key role in managing new payment vendors and invoicing solutions. You’ll have the chance to collaborate with a dynamic team to help shape the product strategy and roadmap for a company at the forefront of eCommerce innovation. This role offers a chance to influence product development, engage with cross-functional teams, and drive product success at scale.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and administer product planning, design, development, documentation, and execution throughout the product lifecycle.
- Gather and prioritize product and customer requirements, define the product vision, and work closely with R&D, engineering, sales, marketing, operations, and support to meet revenue and customer satisfaction goals.
- Ensure alignment of product and marketing efforts with the company’s overall strategy and goals.
- Define product strategy and roadmap, ensuring it aligns with business objectives.
- Deliver product requirement documents (PRD) and marketing requirement documents (MRD), with prioritized features and corresponding justification.
- Lead beta and pilot programs with early-stage products.
- Develop core product positioning and messaging, and perform product demos for customers.
- Maintain expertise on competitive products and market trends.
- Act as a leader within the organization, fostering collaboration and driving success.
- Collaborate with external partners to explore partnership and licensing opportunities.
- May contribute to pricing strategies, sales tools, collateral, and training for the sales team.
Requirements:
- 1-8 years of experience in Product Management.
- Strong knowledge of payments and the ability to work independently.
- Experience with Tableau, Zio for SQL, and Kibana for monitoring is preferred.
- Familiarity with JIRA and SQL tools will be helpful.
