Job Description

Haleon is a new consumer healthcare company focused on improving everyday health. The Production Officer will supervise production processes in their assigned zone (manufacturing or packaging) to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient output according to the production schedule. Key responsibilities include confirming operational setup, supervising operations for quality, maintaining accurate batch documentation, designing and maintaining 5S, supervising cleaning, reporting deviations, conducting root cause analysis, managing line performance, executing line clearance, and closing CAPAs. The role also involves identifying opportunities for defect and waste reduction and ensuring compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) standards.
Must have:
  • Pharm-D/B-Pharm degree
  • 1.5 years of experience
  • Supervise production zone operations
  • Ensure safe and compliant production output
  • Maintain product quality

Job Purpose:

Supervise production process of assigned production zone (manufacturing or packaging work centers assigned with specific span of control) for safe, compliant and efficient production output as per production schedule in shift operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Daily confirmation of operational set-up on assigned line(s)/Zone for man, machine, material and methods for smooth start-up and continued operation in shift with compliance to all applicable standard operating procedures (SOPs) and defined GMP/EHS standards.
  • Effective supervision of operations in assigned zone/lines/work centers and deliver continuous and consistent product quality. This should be linked with following an scripted diary of work (Leader standard work) and be present minimum 70% in area for People Leadership(people management), Performance management, Problem solving and Process Conformation.
  • Real time and correct batch documentation, batch reconciliation and associated GMP documents in accordance with GSK data integrity principles. This includes but not limited to the waste management of line/zone , material return documentations, transfer orders
  • Responsible to design and maintain 5S in assigned zone , Operator standard works (OSW).
  • Supervise / conduct equipment/area GMP cleaning/washing and maintain cleanliness of area, hygiene, people behaviors.
  • Timely report all quality/safety deviations, incidents, events, near misses, problems, issues , risks. Conduct root cause analysis and prepare Corrective and Preventive actions for all such problems in assigned zone(s) , line, work center.
  • Conduct Line level performance management meeting and attend all required tier meetings with tracking and implementation of KPIs.
  • Supervise/perform all line clearance and product change over as per production plan of assigned line (s).
  • Responsible for timely closure of CAPA, change control actions, revision of BPR/BMR and to develop or revise the SOPs of the assigned line (s).
  • Identify opportunities reduce Quality defects (Deviations, BDEs) and production breakdown and reduction of waste (hazardous & non-hazardous).
  • Comply and ensure compliance to GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), Quality and other related policies, guidelines and requirements as applicable by law and GSK Corporate Guidelines.
  • Comply and ensure compliance to Environment, Health and Safety policies, guidelines and requirements as applicable by law and GSK Corporate Guidelines.
  • Any other responsibility assigned from time to time as per business requirements

Skills and Competencies:

  • Pharm-D/B-Pharm
  • 1.5 years of experience
