QA Testers for Arma 4
Arma 4 QA is looking for Testers to bolster its ranks!
We’re looking for a QA Tester to put Arma 4 through its paces, hunting down bugs, testing new features, and making sure soldiers don’t suddenly phase through walls (unless they’ve discovered teleportation tech). You'll be the bridge between development and the player experience, providing feedback, verifying fixes, and ensuring everything runs smoothly before it reaches the battlefield. Whether it’s running regression tests, documenting findings, or just having a keen eye for what makes gameplay tick, your work will help keep the game immersive and polished. If you love analyzing, experimenting, and occasionally making a game do things it definitely shouldn’t, we’d love to have you on the team!
Responsibilities
- Testing of assets, playable content & features, regression testing and evaluating results
- Logging issues into a tracking system with clear and detailed reproduction steps
- Continuously developing testing knowledge and methodologies
- Following team workflows and best practices
- Cooperating with other departments in bug life cycles or during research
- Providing feedback for possible improvement beyond simple bug reporting
- Understanding analyses and offering end-user opinions in every step of feature development
- Creating, updating, and maintaining QA documentation
- Analyzing and comprehending design documentation to ensure accurate test coverage and early identification of potential issues
Requirements
- Great analytical thinking
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Good and efficient communication skills
- English language at a level required for team communication and documentation
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Previous QA experience in game testing
- Experience with different gaming platforms
- Understanding of QA methodologies, test cycles, and bug-tracking processes
- Decent experience with Jira, Slack, Confluence, and Microsoft Office
Nice to have
- Basic knowledge of scripting or automation tools
- Hands-on experience with Bohemia Interactive’s games and engine
