The Retail Merchandiser Associate I will drive sales and manage lottery product inventory, display, and presentation within an assigned territory (Holland/South Haven, MI). Responsibilities include optimizing inventory mix, ensuring customer excellence standards, educating retailers and players, reviewing sales statistics, and following lottery procedures (pickup, drop-off, transfers, returns). This role requires strong customer service, communication, and sales skills, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of retail or wholesale sales experience. This position is crucial to IGT's success within the Michigan State Lottery market.

Responsibilities

Join a winning team! Become a member of IGT and a global leader in the lottery. We deliver entertaining and responsible lottery experiences for players across the globe. As our Retail Merchandising Associate, you will have an active role in the sales and marketing of lottery products on a large scale. This critical role will support the Holland/ South Haven area of Michigan for the State Lottery, a highly successful and strategic account for IGT.


As our next Retail Merchandising Associate, you will drive sales within an assigned territory. It is within that responsibility that you will be asked to:

  • Evaluate and manage product inventory, display, and presentation
  • Optimize the inventory mix at retail locations through planogram, instant ticket ordering, and returns.
  • Ensure customers’ Standards of Excellence are met at all points of retail distribution.
  • Educate retailers and players to maximize sales.
  • Review statistics with retailers consistently.
  • Follow all lottery procedures, such as picking up, dropping off, transferring, closing, and returning tickets to our warehouse.
  • Complete required paperwork and assist with other projects as they are assigned.

We want our newest team member to have a strong grasp of Microsoft Word and Excel and experience with PowerPoint for work on company-provided tablets or computers. You will also need to have a valid driver's license, be able to lift up to 50 pounds, and must reside in the region.

At IGT, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range is $29,120 - $52,458. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.

 

Base pay is only one part of our Total Rewards program.  Sales roles may be eligible for commission payments, while other roles are eligible for discretionary bonuses .  In addition, we offer employees a 401(k) Savings Plan with Company contributions, health, dental, and vision insurance, life, accident, and disability insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid time off, wellness programs, and identity theft insurance. Note: programs are subject to eligibility requirements.
