ROLE SUMMARY:

This role is responsible for driving the overall capability building of our people in Sales throughout their employee journey, from onboarding to professional development, ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives, in their Area. This position requires close collaboration with the Commercial Academy, Area Sales leaders, the Global L&D community, and the People function.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Develop and execute the Sales L&D strategy in line with Maersk's strategic objectives.

  • Conduct assessments and analyses to identify skills and knowledge gaps.

  • Recommend training and development activities to drive individual and Area wide capability development.

  • Implement CEN L&D methods (e.g., coaching, workshops, digital training) as needed.

  • Establish and maintain performance evaluation methods to validate knowledge transfer and return on investment.

  • Foster a learning culture and generate engagement in Sales L&D programs through strategic communication and effective stakeholder management.

  • Collaborate closely with the Commercial Academy and other L&D stakeholders on the development and delivery of global programs.

  • Facilitate Sales On-boarding and training in the Area as needed.

  • Maintain an Area learning content repository to promote on-demand learning.

ACCOUNTABLE FOR:

  • Local Learning & Development plan for Sales (cross-brand).

  • Capabilities/skill assessment and gap analysis.

  • Employee Sales Learning Journey – onboarding plans, on-the-job learning framework including coaching, upskilling & professional development.

CONSULTED ABOUT :

  • Global Sales L&D roadmap and programs.

  • Best practices in L&D across employee learning journeys.

  • Capability building initiatives.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Someone who has strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • Have strong experience in L&D role with at least 8 years of relevant experience.

  • Have a strong awareness of L&D content creation and project management skills.

  • Have a strong Business Acumen.

  • Passionate about employee development and other learning techniques.

  • Creativity to support the development of innovative learning solutions.

  • Passionate about learning and coaching.

  • Proficient in the English language.
