Job Description

As a Salesforce Business Analyst, you will act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring that Salesforce solutions meet the business’s evolving needs. You will be responsible for gathering and translating requirements, defining user stories, facilitating UAT, and supporting end-to-end implementation across various Salesforce Clouds. You will engage with stakeholders, create documentation, collaborate with Salesforce teams, define acceptance criteria, support sprint planning, help define reporting, assist in change management, analyze data models and stay informed on Salesforce feature releases.
Must have:
  • 4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst with at least 2 years focused on Salesforce
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce capabilities across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud
  • Experience writing user stories, acceptance criteria, and conducting UAT
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies
  • Basic knowledge of Salesforce data structures
Good to have:
  • Experience with Salesforce CPQ, Marketing Cloud, or Field Service
  • Familiarity with Jira or other Agile project management tools
  • Experience in creating dashboards and reports in Salesforce
  • Exposure to Salesforce declarative tools (Flows, Validation Rules, Page Layouts)
  • Knowledge of integration concepts and data migration

The Role: 

As a Salesforce Business Analyst, you will act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring that Salesforce solutions meet the business’s evolving needs. You will be responsible for gathering and translating requirements, defining user stories, facilitating UAT, and supporting end-to-end implementation across various Salesforce Clouds.

What you will do:  

  • Engage with stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into functional specs and user stories
  • Conduct workshops, interviews, and process walkthroughs to identify current-state workflows and desired future-state processes
  • Create and maintain documentation including BRDs, FRDs, process flows, and wireframes
  • Collaborate with Salesforce Architects, Admins, and Developers to ensure solutions align with business needs
  • Define acceptance criteria and lead user acceptance testing (UAT) with stakeholders
  • Support sprint planning, backlog grooming, and daily stand-ups in Agile environments
  • Help define reporting and dashboard requirements to provide business insights
  • Assist in change management, training, and post-deployment support
  • Analyze data models and assist with data migration or clean-up as needed
  • Stay informed on Salesforce feature releases and recommend enhancements

Required Skills: 

  • 4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst with at least 2 years focused on Salesforce
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce capabilities across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud
  • Experience writing user stories, acceptance criteria, and conducting UAT
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to interact with both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies
  • Basic knowledge of Salesforce data structures (objects, fields, relationships)

Nice to have Skills:  

  • Experience with Salesforce CPQ, Marketing Cloud, or Field Service
  • Familiarity with Jira or other Agile project management tools
  • Experience in creating dashboards and reports in Salesforce
  • Exposure to Salesforce declarative tools (Flows, Validation Rules, Page Layouts)
  • Knowledge of integration concepts and data migration

Education & Certifications: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Information Systems, or related field
  • Salesforce Administrator Certification (preferred)
  • Salesforce Business Analyst Certification (preferred)

  • $70-$85/hr

  • Must be willing to go into the office 4x a week (Monday-Thursday)
