Job Description
As an SAP FICO Managing Consultant at invenioLSI, you will lead end-to-end SAP FICO support projects, from requirements gathering to post-implementation support. This involves designing solutions, configuring systems, overseeing testing and deployment, and providing expert guidance on enhancements and integrations. You'll be the primary contact for FICO-related issues, conduct training sessions, and collaborate with stakeholders to improve financial processes. Responsibilities include managing a team of 10+ consultants, ensuring timely project deliverables, and staying current with SAP best practices. The role requires deep technical expertise in SAP FICO, including FI, CO, and integration with other modules, along with strong leadership and communication skills. Experience with SAP S/4HANA and Onsite/Offshore Delivery models is essential.
Must have:
- 10-12 years SAP FICO experience (ECC & S/4HANA)
- Lead end-to-end FICO projects
- Expert in FI, CO configuration & integration
- Strong leadership & communication skills
- Manage a team of 10+ consultants
- Experience with Interfaces, IDocs, and eDocument
- Ability to read and debug ABAP code
Good to have:
- SAP PS, FI-MM, FI-SD, COPA knowledge
- SAP S/4HANA Finance experience

Role - SAP FICO Managing Consultant
Summary
We seek an experienced and talented FICO Managing Consultant with a proven track record in SAP FICO implementations, upgrades, and AMS support. As a FICO Managing Consultant, you will be responsible for leading the design, configuration, and support of SAP Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules to meet our client’s business needs. The ideal candidate will have exceptional leadership skills, deep technical expertise in SAP FICO, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional and technical teams. You should have good experience working in the Onsite/Offshore Delivery model.
Skills
- Bachelor's degree or Master’s in Commerce, Finance, Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, MBA (Finance or equivalent) or a related field.
- 10 - 12 years of hands-on experience in SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA environments.
- Extensive knowledge of SAP Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules, including configuration, customization, and integration with other SAP modules.
- Proven experience leading full-cycle SAP FICO AMS Support projects, from requirements gathering to post-implementation support.
- Expert understanding of Interfaces, IDocs, and eDocument.
- Should be able to read and debug the ABAP program.
- Good understanding of SAP PS (Project System), FI-MM, and FI-SD integration.
- Good understanding of COPA.
- Strong understanding of finance and accounting principles, processes, and best practices.
- SAP certification(s) in FICO modules is highly desirable.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end SAP FICO Support project, including gathering business requirements, designing solutions, configuring systems, and overseeing testing and deployment.
- Provide expert guidance and support for SAP FICO module enhancements, upgrades, and integrations with other SAP and non-SAP systems.
- Serves as the primary point of contact for all FICO-related issues, troubleshooting, and resolution.
- Conduct workshops, training sessions, and knowledge transfer sessions to empower end-users and support teams.
- Responsible for timely project deliverables of a team of 10+ FICO consultants.
- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to understand financial processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and recommend SAP FICO solutions.
- Stay current with SAP best practices, industry trends, and upcoming releases to recommend innovative solutions.
- Should be willing to work in UK shift timings.
Business Skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, the ability to clearly and concisely communicate with others.
- Experience with Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel & PowerPoint.
- Understanding of business processes for focus area or module.
- Ability to do research and perform detailed tasks.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Understands business functionality related to SAP module/application as well as can identify touch points between modules.
