SAP Senior Managing Consultant - EAM Functional Architect (US Citizen or Perm Resident req)  
 
SAP Skills
  • Minimum of 12-15 years of experience in SAP Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) implementation and support.
  • Strong expertise in SAP EAM module and its integration with other SAP modules.
  • Minimum 3-5 end to end implementation projects in SAP Plant Maintenance.
  • 10-12+ years of SAP experience.
  • Collaborate with clients to implement and develop SAP solutions tailored to their EAM needs, ensuring alignment with best practices and industry standards.
  • Drive and conduct design workshops focused on EAM processes, facilitating discussions to identify requirements and develop solutions.
  • Leverage deep knowledge of Equipment and Technical Objects, Preventive Maintenance, Planned Maintenance, Damage-Related Maintenance, Maintenance Order Management, Work Clearance Management, and MRS.
  • Ensure effective integration of SAP EAM (including PM, MRS, Mobile) with S/4 HANA to optimize asset management processes.
  • Lead design sessions, guiding teams through the implementation of SAP EAM and SSAM solutions, ensuring successful project outcomes.
  • Perform hands-on functional configuration of SAP EAM, SSAM Mobile, and PM to meet client requirements and improve system efficiency.
  • Working Experience with SAP Field Service Management and SAP Asset Performance Management will be considered a plus.
  • Familiarity with EAM-GIS integration is desirable.

Responsibilities 
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for SAP Enterprise Asset Management (EAM), providing strategic advice and guidance to clients.
  • Conduct detailed analysis of client EAM processes and recommend best practices.
  • Develop functional specifications for custom developments and coordinate with technical teams to implement solutions.
  • Facilitate workshops, training sessions, and presentations for clients and internal teams on SAP EAM functionalities and benefits.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of SAP Enterprise Asset Management with other SAP modules such as FI, CO, FM, and MM.
  • Understands configuration dependencies and interrelationships between separate functional modules of SAP and provide financial expertise into the definition and resolution of issues in this area with this knowledge.
  • Conducts or participates in user requirements gathering, blueprinting & documentation designs. Ensure compliance to existing, and development of required data and reporting standards.
  • Ensure the integrity of the EAM configuration of the SAP system across multiple landscapes
  • Leads workshops with customers to demonstrate and explain module functionality and best practice processes.
  • Assists customers improve business processes and documents changes required to SAP configuration settings to implement redesigned business processes.
  • Develops to-be design documentation for Master Data and Process designs.
  • Unit tests standard transactions and applications.
  • Develops functional specifications for Workflows, Reports, Interfaces, Data Conversions, Enhancements and Forms.
  • Coordinates with technical developers to review specifications with customers, explain the design and obtain approval of specifications. 
  • Makes SAP configuration settings as required.

  • Assists customer perform integration and acceptance testing.
  • Resolves defects and issues identified by customer in integration testing.
  • Assists training developers by providing conceptual content, exercise content and demonstration content. Reviews training materials for correct representation of SAP functionality.
  • Executes data conversions and provides data validation assistance to customer.
  • Assists customers anticipate, identify and resolve post go-live issues.
  • Updates all design, configuration and specification documentation and conducts a documentation walk through with customer.
  • Provides knowledge transfer to customer throughout the project.
  • Responsible for the management of module Scope. 
  • Identifies and logs issues and risks.
  • Establish clear expectations regarding status reporting, team communication and deliverable management. 
  • Manages and provide oversight of team tasks. 
  • Reports to Functional lead.
