We are seeking a part-time HR Business Partner in Singapore to be responsible for our South East Asian offices. The candidate will be responsible for office operations, local HR activities, employee relations and communication to support the employee engagement and local market compliance. 

 

About the role

  1. Serve as a trusted advisor to management, HRBPs, and employees on all matters related to employee relations, including performance management, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions.
  2. Facilitate investigations into employee complaints, grievances, and concerns, and recommend appropriate courses of action to resolve issues effectively and fairly.
  3. Collaborate with HRBPs, Legal, and other stakeholders to ensure consistent application of company policies and procedures and compliance with employment laws and regulations.
  4. Stay current on industry trends, best practices, and legal developments related to employee relations and recommend updates to company policies and procedures as needed.
  5. Maintain accurate and confidential employee relations records and documentation.
  6. Manage SEA local office operation and employee communication to ensure local office compliance and employee engagement.
  7. Other ad-hoc tasks in the HR or admin team in SEA markets.

 

Qualification

  1. Bachelor degree or above in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology or related fields.
  2. 3 or above years of experience in a HR function role. 
  3. Knowledge of employment laws and regulations, particularly in South East Asia markets
  4. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish credibility with employees at all levels of the organization.
  5. Proven ability to effectively manage employee relations issues with tact, discretion, and confidentiality.
  6. Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, with a solution-oriented mindset.
  7. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  8. Have a proactive and positive attitude, and willing to learn anything new.

 

Working hours

24 to 32 hours per week
