Job Description

As a Senior Account Executive in Mid-Market Sales at Google Customer Solutions, you'll consult with advertising companies, finding optimal advertising solutions. You'll build trusted relationships with C-level executives, manage multiple projects, and drive customer growth by achieving their business and marketing objectives. Responsibilities include delivering against ambitious growth goals, owning a portfolio of businesses, pitching and consulting with customers, and establishing credibility with executives to optimize their advertising investment. You will design transformative media strategies for growth based on customer objectives and provide solution selling and partnership management to deliver successful business outcomes. You'll work with account strategists and client-side partners to identify opportunities for future client growth. Fluency in Danish and English is required.
Must have:
  • 8 years digital advertising/sales experience or 6 with advanced degree

Job Details

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of industry experience in digital advertising, consultative sales, business development, or digital marketing, or 6 years of experience with an advanced degree.
  • Ability to communicate in Danish and English fluently to support client relationship management in this region

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience building trusted-advisor relationships with C-level executives, and managing multiple projects, business leads, and internal stakeholders.
  • Experience strategically assessing and achieving client success via sales techniques, including effective questioning, objection handling, compelling narratives, storytelling and engaged selling.
  • Experience in managing digital advertising campaigns at scale with a focus on performance marketing.
  • Knowledge of online marketing strategy and industry.
  • Ability to develop joint business plans in complex, ambiguous environments, influence/collaborate across organizations, and drive business success for Danish customers.
  • Demonstrated thought leadership and high executive functioning within the digital marketing space.

As an Account Executive in Mid-Market Sales, you will help to shape and evolve client objectives and identify opportunities for future client growth. You will build strategy alongside account strategists and client-side partners, and identify ways for Google to enhance clients ability to meet their business and marketing objectives. You will design transformative media strategies for growth based on the customer objectives. You will provide solution selling, partnership management and analysis to deliver successful business outcomes. You will uncover the business needs of Google's key clients and achieve their objectives while driving incremental business agreements through our industry leading advertising solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver against ambitious quarterly business and product growth goals.
  • Own a portfolio of medium and large size businesses by thoroughly understanding growth drivers, identifying opportunities for growth, managing risks and building multi-quarter plans for achievement.
  • Pitch and consult with customers proactively to support annual digital marketing discussions and budgets.
  • Drive customer growth by delivering outstanding customer sales experience and achieving customer business and marketing objectives.
  • Establish credibility with executives and serve as a trusted partner to optimize and expand their advertising investment.
