The Senior Audit Associate is responsible for assisting with engagement planning, budgeting, and scheduling. This role involves executing audit, review, and compilation programs, preparing and reviewing workpapers, and supervising/mentoring audit associates and staff accountants. The associate will also participate in audit, accounting, and financial reporting consulting, assist with regulatory reporting, and help with staff assignments. Key duties include subordinate staff development, training, and performance review, as well as participation in continuing professional education, practice development, recruiting activities, and other client service areas as directed by firm management. The position may also involve performing administrative duties and traveling for professional responsibilities.
