Senior Cloud Engineer

About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Azure Cloud Platform Engineer to engineer and maintain Haleon’s Azure Cloud environment.

The role requires a strong Azure administration background, healthy mix of DevOps skill and is critical to ensuring products delivered meet Haleon security standards and best practices.

The successful candidate is expected to have sufficient Azure skills, allowing them to take over an existing platform as a primary contributor to the product and service within Haleon.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, build, and maintain the Azure Platform, using Infrastructure as Code development processes.
• Work with security engineering to understand CSPM vulnerabilities and implement guardrails, utilising Azure Policy to secure the platform.
• Document infrastructure configurations, processes, and procedures.
• Execute FinOps best practices, analysing cloud usage and spend data, to identify areas for cost optimisation, both in conjunction with the FinOps team and as an individual contributor.
  
  
  

Maintain Azure automation accounts and logic apps, to configure and update platform level configuration.

Professional Experience

• Minimum 5 years of proven experience as an Azure administrator.
• Experience with other cloud platforms e.g. AWS, GCP
• Experience in CI/CD pipelining of cloud platforms.
• Comfortable working in Agile oriented ways of working, experience with Jira and Confluence beneficial.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment.
• Strong communication skills to interact with development teams and stakeholders for a UK headquartered business.
• Experience using ServiceNow for configuration, change management and automation integration beneficial.
