Responsibilities:
Lightspeed LA is looking for a talented producer to help us make Last Sentinel. We are an experienced group of developers building a new game, in a new world, with a new team. We want you to help us execute a game vision that will delight our players.
Senior Design Producer:
The Senior Design Producer is responsible for producing design content within the incredible world we are building. They will ensure the smooth running of each feature by facilitating communication and information sharing between designers, engineers, department leads, and other stakeholders. This person needs to be comfortable in a startup environment. They will be responsible for establishing processes and building relationships with outside studios as well. They need to work with other producers to ensure the success of the project.
Responsibilities:
- Multi-disciplinary work within the game team with some exposure to external groups
- Responsible for planning and scheduling of broad discipline and major feature teams
- Coordinates tasking and status of assigned team(s) for short- and long-term deadlines--sprints & milestones
- Works with senior leadership on coordinating the project goal
- Help improve production goals, standards, and policies for production while also developing policies that improve the production process
- Elevate the production team by providing mentorship and guidance
- Use leadership skills to influence, motivate, and encourage the team
Requirements:
- 8+ years of game production experience in various production discipline roles
- Have built and shipped AAA games
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
- Thorough understanding of inter-departmental workflows and dependencies
- Thorough understanding of the game development process
- Expertise in documentation and communication tools
- Strong proficiency with various production methodologies and project management tools
- Advanced to Expert conflict resolution skills
- Demonstrated leadership with cross disciplinary teams
- Self-starter, comfortable working with new teams and new pipelines within a start-up environment
- Comfortable creating structure with minimal direction
- Able to assess project risk quickly and drive solutions
- Excellent oral and written communication skills

The base pay range for this position in the state(s) above is $92,880.0 to $193,320.0 per year. Actual pay is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A sign on payment, relocation package, and restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, as well as other medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the specific position offered.
