Job Summary:

Context:
Role requires a strong Senior Executive having experience in books closing, compliance, reconciliation and tax competency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • End to end accounting and reporting relating to Disney EMEA entities
  • Timely and accurate completion of monthly & quarterly closing processes
  • Responsible for review of monthly & quarterly accounting and reporting of the P&L and Balance sheets
  • Preparation and submission of monthly Balance sheet schedules.
  • Ensuring timely completion of Controllership schedules.
  • Ensuring timely completion of Statutory, Management and Internal Audits.
  • Closely working with external auditors and managing their queries.
  • Ensuring to comply with all relevant policies relating to Revenue recognition standards, revenue disclosure requirements, etc.
  • Looking after Front of House systems, reconciliations and co-ordination with business teams, tech teams etc as necessary.
  • Responsible for Intercompany transaction control including timely reconciliations and their settlements
  • Working on liquidation of legal entities
  • Preparation of Financial statements as per Accounting Standards and collaborate with UK stakeholders, Local Finance team and liaising with auditors to get the FS audited.
  • Participate in new initiatives and projects and focus on Process improvements & automation.
  • Monitoring various hygiene areas like open payables, open item management etc.
  • Communicating and develop good working relations with business teams will be key aspect for success.
  • Collaborating with UK stakeholders and Local Finance team.
