As a Senior Game Recruiter, you will manage full-cycle recruitment across multiple teams and roles in a fully remote environment. This involves understanding hiring manager needs, sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and managing the recruitment process from job ad creation to offer. You will also need to stay informed on industry trends and ensure a positive candidate experience. The role requires excellent communication, organizational skills, and experience in the video game industry. Responsibilities include managing the recruiting process, including headcount planning, job ad creation and editing, candidate sourcing, engagement, interviewing, offers and approval. Focus on both timeliness and effectiveness: attention to detail, good judgment calls, and keeping Hiring Managers informed and pipelines clean. Develop and incorporate an effective reporting strategy, including consistent and concise recruitment reports for varying audiences. Ensure a fair and engaged candidate experience from application to onboarding.
Must have:
  • 5+ years in a recruitment focused role.
  • 2+ years in a gaming studio focused HR or Recruitment role.
  • Experience working in a fully remote studio.
  • Experience reviewing portfolios and other assets within a resume pipeline.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Job Details

What is your role? 

As a Senior Game Recruiter for Eleventh Hour Games, you'll be the owner of full cycle recruitment across multiple teams and roles. This individual needs exceptional professionalism, communication skills, self autonomy, attention to detail, and organizational-minded approach. You will be working across a fully remote environment with individuals across a global market. Familiarization and experience with recruitment in the video game industry will be essential. The ideal candidate will be passionate and engaged, and always be looking for solutions and best practices. 

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years in a recruitment focused role
    • 2+ years in a gaming studio focused HR or Recruitment role 
  • Experience working in a fully remote studio
  • Experience working in a mid-sized studio with rapid growth and high recruitment demand
  • Experience reviewing portfolios, reels, and other assets within a resume pipeline 
  • Experience recruiting across multiple teams, including Art, Development, and Game Design
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and a strong understanding of organizing and presenting recruitment pipelines within an HRIS Recruitment tool 
  • Professional experience working within HRIS, applicant tracking systems, and candidate management systems
  • Approachable and engaged personality with an ability to truly encompass the EHG mission

Responsibilities: 

  • Full cycle recruitment for roles spanning multiple departments 
  • Conduct HR interviews, including culture fit
  • Work closely with hiring managers to understand their needs, and source the most effective candidate
  • Manage recruiting process including headcount planning, job ad creation and editing, candidate sourcing, engagement, interviewing, offers and approval
  • Understand current industry trends, as well as internal needs 
  • Understanding the global market, and making appropriate adjustments and considerations when communicating and engaging with candidates 
  • Focus on both timeliness and effectiveness: attention to detail, good judgment calls, and keeping Hiring Managers informed and pipelines clean
  • Develop and incorporate an effective reporting strategy, including consistent and concise recruitment reports for varying audiences
  • Ensure a fair and engaged candidate experience from application to onboarding
