10 Chambers, a Tencent-backed game studio in Stockholm, Sweden, is seeking a Senior Gameplay Programmer for their new cooperative heist FPS, Den of Wolves. The role involves prototyping, refining, and finalizing gameplay mechanics, implementing responsive controls, and contributing to the stability and performance of gameplay code through debugging and optimization. Must have:

10 Chambers is a fully funded scale-up game studio backed by Tencent and based in the beautiful city of Stockholm, Sweden. We are an ambitious, creative, and collaborative team with a lifelong love for games.

We are now working on our next project, a cooperative heist FPS in a techno-thriller setting - Den of Wolves. Originated and directed by Ulf Andersson, the game designer of Payday 1 & 2.

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Gameplay Programmer with a lifelong love for games, the creativity to solve complex problems within a shared vision, and the drive to take ownership and deliver top-quality code.

At 10 Chambers, we are working in Unity and C#, which we find gives us a great balance between creative power, development speed, and quality. We can offer you a stimulating and challenging environment and constant opportunities to both apply and refine your skills.

As part of a small, creative team responsible for delivering high-quality, player-facing systems, you will get to work across the stack rather than being limited to a single area.

  • Prototype, refine, and finalize mechanics across a wide spectrum of gameplay, including core interactions, combat systems, and game logic.
  • Implement responsive controls and feedback that make the game intuitive and satisfying to play.
  • Contribute to the stability and performance of gameplay code through debugging, optimization, and best practices.
  • Profile and optimize gameplay systems to maintain smooth performance on all target platforms.

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of gameplay programming experience
  • Demonstrated expertise in C#
  • A great understanding of how to iterate to reach the design goals
  • Strong collaboration skills
  • Excellent command of English (Swedish is not a requirement)

Bonus Qualifications

  • Experience with Unity
  • Experience with ECS Architecture
  • Experience with console titles
