Overall Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the performance testing team and projects
- Develop and implement performance testing methodologies and strategies
- Analyze performance test results and provide recommendations for improvement
- Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to identify and resolve performance issues
- Mentor and guide team members on best practices and technical expertise
- Stay current on industry trends and advancements in performance testing
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of performance testing tools (e.g. LoadRunner, JMeter, Gatling)
- Experience with performance testing in cloud environments
- Knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Experience:
- 6+ years of experience in performance testing and quality assurance
- Experience leading and managing performance testing teams
- Experience with designing and executing performance test plans
Day-to-Day Activities:
- Define performance testing requirements and scope for projects
- Develop and execute performance test plans and scripts
- Monitor and analyze performance test results
- Communicate performance test findings to relevant stakeholders
- Provide recommendations for performance optimization and tuning
- Mentor and guide team members on technical best practices
Qualification:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
- Master's degree or certifications in performance testing is a plus
