Job Description

Wargaming seeks a Senior QA Engineer for its World of Tanks team. Responsibilities include quality assurance of game client/server mechanics, interfaces, engine, tools, in-game content (models, effects, localization), modes, and events. The role involves developing testing documentation, executing test plans, and providing QA presence throughout development, from concept to live operations. Collaboration with 3rd party studios and a distributed international team is key. Experience testing complex client/server applications is essential.

Must have:

5+ years client application testing experience
Knowledge of testing principles and methods
Bug tracking and test case management skills
Strong analytical and teamwork skills
Good English communication skills
Passion for video games

Good to have:

Excellent Russian language skills
Scripting language knowledge
Relational database knowledge
World of Tanks playing experience

Job Overview

Wargaming is growing the World of Tanks QA Team and is looking for talented QA Engineers that are experienced in testing complex multicomponent client/server applications, motivated to grow their expertise in game development, and complete challenging tasks. Work at Wargaming is a chance to be involved in one of the most popular video games of today.

The primary focus of this position is to provide quality assessment to new functionalities of various complexity, stabilize versions, test big game modes, as well as to work with 3rd party studios. Working as a World of Tanks QA Engineer, you’ll be able to broaden your knowledge and skills of different testing types, get experience of testing your own product in close cooperation with the driver and developers, as well as working in a distributed international team.

What will you do?

Provide quality assurance to the following:

Game client/server mechanics and in-game interfaces
Game engine and tools
In-game content: models and scenes, visual and sound effects, localizations
In-game modes and events

Develop testing documentation and execute test plans
Provide strong QA presence for every stage of development, starting from the concept phase up to live operations

What are we looking for?

Knowledge of testing principles, types, and methods
5+ year experience in client applications testing
Experience with bug tracking and test case management systems
Technical education
Diligence, attention to detail, responsibility, teamwork skills
Strong analytical skills, self-motivation, and desire to learn
Good knowledge of English (work with documentation, correspondence)
Passion for video games and military warfare

What additional skills will help you stand out?

Excellent knowledge of Russian (writing text descriptions, ability to lead constructive conversation)
Familiarity with script programming languages
Knowledge of relational database principles
Experience playing World of Tanks

Work mode

Hybrid (2-3 days of work from the office)

The salary range for this role in Vilnius is EUR 3300-4100 monthly gross.
