We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Security Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in information security, with at least 5 years of experience in the field. They will be responsible for leading security engineering projects, developing and implementing industry-standard frameworks such as NIST, ISO, and SOC, and working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the organization's security posture is robust and effective. The ideal candidate will have experience with public cloud infrastructure such as AWS and Azure Cloud.
What you’ll be working on
- Lead security engineering projects to ensure the organization's security posture is robust
- and effective.
- Implement security controls that align with industry-standard frameworks such as NIST, ISO, and SOC.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the organization's security policies and
- procedures are aligned with industry best practices.
- Provide expert guidance on IAM policies, procedures, and controls.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest security threats and technologies, and make recommendations
- for improvements to the organization's security posture.
- Collaborate with external partners and vendors to ensure the organization's security tools
- and services are current and effective.
- Conduct security audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement.
- Be a leader and a trusted resource during security incidents and disaster recovery activities.
- Serve as an escalation point for junior security staff.
- Initiate threat hunting activities and investigations.
What you bring to the role
- 5+ years of experience in information security.
- Experience with public cloud infrastructure such as AWS and Azure Cloud.
- In-depth knowledge of IAM policies, procedures, and controls.
- Strong background in security engineering and architecture.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Familiarity with industry-standard frameworks such as NIST, ISO, and SOC.
- Experience leading incident response or emergency response teams.
- Experience in threat hunting and vulnerability mitigation
- Certification in information security (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CISA).
- Experience with GRC tools and services.
- Familiarity with cloud security technologies and services.
- Experience with security engineering and architecture in a cloud environment.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience working in an Agile environment.
