Software Engineer (Data Solutions), AI & Data Platforms

We engineer high-quality, scalable, and resilient distributed systems on the cloud to support data exploration, analytics, reporting, and production models. Our core systems handle large data volumes and are distributed across cloud and on-premise infrastructure. This role involves building solutions that integrate open-source software with Apple's internal ecosystem, driving the development of new components and features from concept to release. You will design, build, test, and ship regularly, collaborating with internal customers to understand requirements and workflows, and proposing enhancements to streamline their experience on our platform. This is a demanding software engineering position, requiring significant time spent on coding, designing, and developing cloud applications, as well as tuning, debugging, supporting production applications, and assisting end-users. The role demands deep knowledge of innovative technologies and cloud data platforms, with the ability to independently learn new technologies and contribute to various initiatives.
