The Solutions Engineer, SaaS Specialist, will work closely with the Milestone VSaaS Sales team in a technical sales capacity to position solutions involving Milestone’s Kite products and services to prospective customers. This entails technical analysis and consultation to ensure our cloud solutions and the technical design of the solution adequately solve the customer’s challenges. The Solutions Engineer must be able to articulate and demonstrate technically complex solutions in a manner easily understood by various audiences.
The Solutions Engineer is responsible for supporting all technical aspects of a project throughout the sales process. Product presentations and support provided through conference calls and on-site meetings are important aspects of the function. Throughout the proposal process, you articulate and demonstrate VSaaS solutions, influence customers’ technical requirements, and position products relative to the competition. You are often involved with the client post-purchase and assist with client onboarding activities.
The preferred candidate for this position will be located in the West Coast, Rocky Mountain, or Central regions of the USA.

Your Experience
To succeed in this role, you will need at least five years of customer-facing experience in sales engineering or IT, Physical Security, or SaaS. You will also need to demonstrate a strong technical foundation through your hands-on experience and/or education and certifications

This position's annual on-target earnings (OTE) range from $108,498 to $179,739, with most candidates falling in the $120,034 to $150,030 range. Pay is based on the level, location, complexity, responsibility, and job duties of the specific position and is just one component of Milestone’s total compensation package. Additionally, we offer an attractive benefits package that includes medical/dental benefits, FSA or HSA, 401k with 6% Safe Harbor employer match, paid parental leave, generous PTO (20 days' vacation, 10 days paid sick time, and 12 company holidays), fully paid Short Term disability policy, fully paid Long Term disability policy, and Life Insurance.
